sandspit
Hello,I have a bogus collection that I refuse to pay. It will be 7 years 6/05The TU rep tells me that it will come off then. I have a hard time believing that it will come off if I do not pay it. Is this correct?
DocDon
It will come off - it has to - regardless whether it's paid or not (7-year reporting rule). If it's bogus, why not DV the CA?
sandspit
Its a long and complicated story. The bottom line is that I do not agree with the charges that were sent to collections. Two CRA's were satisfied with whatever validation they were provided and left the collection on my record. I assume its nothing more than a name and account number. No REAL validation.Well I would rather have that on my record than pay the slimeballs a dime.If they happen to re-age the account, would the be a violation?
