Cyndi4557 10
Hi, Morrow, I am new here, but learning every day. My ? is does this Patelco have a website (sorry about dumb ?) I have 5 CC's that I carry balances on and with others saying they are getting good CL's, maybe I can too. But, I am currently enrolled with Ameridebt and just found out about the FTC's lawsuit against them, so I wonder what would happen if I tried to consolidate with Patelco or is there anyother hope for me? BTW, Doc Don has been helpful, but this is the 1st I found this part of the Forum,, Love IT!! Thanks

Cyndi4557 10
Actually, I don't think I would meet their requirements. I would only want a loan to get me out of Ameridebt and as I scrolled thru the terms, it sounded like they want people who are wealthy, and money upfront, etc., maybe I am wrong. Just seeking a way out of AmD. Thanks!

chingasaholo 10
I saw the thread about the auto loan and said "what the hell" and applied, trading in my trailblazer on saturday, they approved me for 55k but If I add my wife on to the account I could get more....I'm going to get the porsche cayenne, my trailblazer breaking down all the time Thanks for the info, I never though to apply to patelco, especially after I already got a big fat loan from them. 4.2 percent is not bad for a auto loan josh
chingasaholo 10
but it's useful, thanks for telling everyone about patelco...They seem to be very generous in giving out credit to everyone. Even with my scores I've had issues with amex and others. Buying a car is not that easy, even with good credit. They did make it easy for me, even though I have not purchased a new vehicle yet it's a comfort knowing you can walk into any dealership with that firepower behind you. No more dealing with finance managers, etc....makes it easier to walk out when they try to hose you.josh
morrow 199
but it's useful, thanks for telling everyone about patelco...Thats what we're all here for, to share our experiences and benefit. They seem to be very generous in giving out credit to everyone. Even with my scores I've had issues with amex and others. Buying a car is not that easy, even with good credit. They did make it easy for me, even though I have not purchased a new vehicle yet it's a comfort knowing you can walk into any dealership with that firepower behind you. No more dealing with finance managers, etc....makes it easier to walk out when they try to hose you.I totally agree, I cant count the number of times I got treated like sh*t at dealerships. Not only was it embarrassing, but it was extremely frustrating as well. When I bought my 4-Runner last year, I went in there, already approved and the difference in service was phenominal!! I loved having that power.
debcakes 10
I'll be glad when I get to the point where I am able to get approved from Patelco. I applied a few weeks ago and got a rejection letter. It will happen one of these days....at least they were fast about letting me know, though.

creditaware 10
chingasaholo are you going for the cayenne or the cayenne s? i want my wife to get the cayenne to replace her grand cherokee... as the adverts say... there is no substitute
Wb5896 10
Why all the hate on fin managers? They can be very helpfull in your lending needs. You must have ran into a bad person. I think fin managers are great people, thats my non parsal opinion.
chingasaholo 10
I got the cayenne S, was expensive but I thought I deserved it. I didnt lower my payments any they are about 200.00 more a month than the trailblazer cost me. My wife is still giving my *&&( for buying it but what the hell I say. My wife isnt complaining too much when she rides in it though I'm sure glad I paid off my trailblazer though, piece of crap it is.I must say that I was going to skimp and buy a nissan murano, however the finance/sales people at the local nissan dealer were less than helpful...even when I came in with money in hand. They wanted to barter over the amount of trade. They haggled to with 500.00! They were going to let a deal break over 500.00 when I was going to purchase a 38,000 vehicle with cash in hand! I got my keys and walked out, after almost knocking the salesman in the head.To pick up this story, I drove by the porsche dealership in springfield, va...nice people, first class service and they gave me 5000.00 MORE for my trade than I expected. They wanted to get me into a new vehicle and they did, in about 4 hours I was driving off the lot in the new one.Although I now have a car that cost's the equivlent of a small house, I'm satisfied. I hate buying cars, you just have to realize even though car dealers say they are there to help you, they are out to make a buck. I'm always on the offensive when I go into a dealer, I dont like to take crap from anyone and I dont want to be rolled over by them.....One little tip before I go.....Make sure if you give them your keys you have an extra set and you know exactly who and where in the dealership they are going. This is a ploy, they get your keys and when you want them back they still keep dealing. If you have a second set, you can leave and come back and pick them up later. I'm sorry, after ever car I've purchased I come out feeling like I've made a deal with the devil himself and sold my soul along with it.... as far as patelco, the customer service in their loan department completely sucks, but...I thank them for the money josh
chingasaholo 10
I have to agree with you, only one point. Financial managers themselves are not inherently "bad", they are however there to do a job and that is make money for the dealership. When it comes down to you and the dealership, they choose the dealer. I dont think anyone takes the dealer, the dealer always takes the customer.Just like a casino in vegas.......The house has the odds.
