No Goodwill at Chase??

I went to planetfeedback and wrote a goodwill letter to Chase bank for a mastercard that my wife has. I explained to them that the slow pays were affecting interest rates that I am trying to pursue for a mortgage. Total in all there were 4 late pays. I got a letter from Chase today in the mail saying that that couldn't comply with the request to remove the late pays because they were reported correctly under the FCRA. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do from here. I diputed the late pays on her Equifax and they removed them, but I'm just having trouble with EX  and TU  .

Thanks

:x

Only if you want to be declined again. If corporate denies you, keep writing to their general correspondence address. Sometimes you have to get lucky and they'll extend the gesture to you. There's no secret formula to achieve what you're looking to do.

Good luck!

Hmph, I tried that one but didn't work. I got a voicemail from someone in his office giving me the line about how they are "required by law" to report correct info. I also received a letter stating the same signed by an "Executive Resolution Specialist". Is this just a glorified customer service rep?

This was also my second failed goodwill attempt and the letter includes the line "Our records also indicate that you were advised of our decision in writing on December 22." I guess a polite way of asking me what part of NO do I not understand, huh? Has anyone had any luck with Chase? I'll give PFB a try and see what happens....
