Yes, heard from these guys on a Crap 1 that had made a couple of rounds through CAs that wouldn't answer my DV requests - similar to your experience. I DV'd WWR, they sent me a couple of account statements. I wrote that statements were insufficient validation. Heard nothing further. Six months later the OC hired a local attorney and filed suit. I settled but before I made an offer I spent some time in court observing other cases and saw that when it's the OC suing, those account statements will generally stand as validation. My account was never sold, tho, just assigned from one CA to the next. Yours has been sold and re-sold?

OK, that sounds more like the OC is assigning and then moving it on when the CAs don't produce. Read a bit more about WWR on their website - what I suspect is that they are a law firm / collector with a nationwide network of attorneys who they can contact to file suit in your backyard (don't worry about the bulldozers, Arthur, worry about these guys  ). Don't know for sure but this is what happened to me. I never heard from the local attorney before I was served.
