goingunder
me and dh have a loan account that was just paid off last month. there are some lates on the account from last year. Who do i send a letter to - in order for the lates to be changed to Paid in Full, Never Late. I figured, it wouldn't hurt to have them (Wells Fargo) to update my account to paid in full without the lates. Do I send a letter to them or the CRA? I've disputed with CRA, but came back verified. What sort of letter do i send to Wells Fargo if i go that way?We are trying for a HELOC and that is the ONLY negative on there. We need that account on there, but just without the lates. parko03
You could try writing a "goodwill" letter to Wells Fargo.
Recovering Attorney
Write a good will letter to Wells Fargo's CEO. saying how much you enjoy being their customer, give them the sob story about why you were late, remind them you faithfully met your obligations to them and would enjoy doing business in the future, and cen't they just see their way clear to take these little spots off an otherwise good credit rating?
