question about symbols in PG report

Well I made good progess, finally got all my accounts to show $0 balance and Midland has been deleted. My scores have come up but there are two things I think that might help them come up a little more but I'm not sure what effect they have.

on my PG report:

First- I have several accounts from EQ that show as Open, but the accounts were settled COs. It does list them has settled and CO but still lists the account as Open. Would it be better to have these accounts listed as Closed? How can you have an open CO account?

Second - on a few accounts that were COs, if I look at the symbols under the detail section (the green OK symbols or Red CO etc) it will show the correct month when the acct was 30 days late, 60 day late etc, then a red CO for the date it was COed, then there will be several months of ND, but the last synbol will again be a red CO. In one case the last CO is under 8/04 even though the account was COed ovrer a year ago. So, I'm not sure what these symbols represent, are they indicating the date the account was COed or are they trying to say this account was a CO in the past and this is the date we last updated the info.

There is no date in the detail section that says the actual date of CO.

Dispute it as a closed account....not open.

My report on PG shows 120 days late this month on transunion even though this account was paid in full in 2000. When I run a myfico.com, the account shows as paid with no late this month. I think PG is a bit screwed up. I would suggest running a myfico if you are really concerned. You are correct, by the looks of the reporting method symbols on PG, it would seem the symbol would correspond with the charge off month. I really don't know PG and their madness on some issues.

Sorry if I made you dizzy. Maybe this will explain it better.

On the PG report it looks like this:

J... J... A...S... O... N... D/03... J...F.. M...A...M...J... J... A/04

30 60 90 120 CO nd.. nd.... . nd nd nd nd nd nd nd CO
