so, due to an annual fee that apparently capital one charges - i went over the limit by $5. Not a problem, my payments are current every month, etc. will totally be willing to write them the check for $5 for now - and then make my normal monthly payment.

However, for the past 5 days i have gotten over 20 (i am not kidding) phone calls a day - always "unavailable" on the caller ID, no message.

Today it was once every half hour - i am beginning to get more than enraged, this is ridiculous for them pushing me over the limit with an annual fee - is there anyone i can send this to? I don't have a problem with a card, but this is more than a bit excessive.

I did speak with a customer rep on day #1 (before learning to ignore the calls) who said, 'thanks for your always on-time payments, but you're over" when i proceeded to explain that them pushing me over did not constitute them calling me, she ended with "uh, sorry, we'll make a note of this in your record" and they have called excessively ever since.

any advice?

thanks

You should have asked them to remove the late as THEY put you over the limit. Also ask that the yearly fee be waived. Remind them of your timely payments in the past and that they shouldn't want to lose a long time customer over 5 bux.

Worked for me 3 or 4 times.
