Josh Mcgrath
4th ITS letter? You should go ahead and sue them.
DocPC
Probably too late. Unless you get some after the first one they see you as weak.UNLESS.......You have a solid case and are willing to get it.
lucyricardo
No, the fourth letter total. I sent DV #1, 2 & 3. This one yesterday pointed out their violation of the FDCPA, only ITS letter.
DocPC
WHEW! Ok, so you sent an ITS this last time? Be prepared to go to court. They may take it to the wire until they see that you are serious.

gprncss
I had a positive experience with my ITS letter to Sherman. I outlined all of Sherman's violations and told them they have 10 days to delete the tradeline or I will happily see them in court and have reported them to the FTC. Made sure I CC'd, my state Attorney General and theirs (NY I think). I was about to actually file a complaint against Sherman with their State Attorney but I week later after I got my green card, I checked my credit on PG and it was GONE! Of course it took a total of 6 months of battling with them. Either way I am celebrating now!!

bluealex915
ITS letters have never worked for me as of this post. I gave Experian all the chances in the world but they didn't even aknowledge me with a response. I am getting ready to sue thier asses off for over 4000.00 dollars. I also had sent out ITS letters to Equifax and I never got a response from them either. It almost seems like they are basically saying " go ahead and sue me ". With each letter I sent out I attached all the supporting documenation to them to show the CRA that I was serious but like I said, no response. I am preparing two small claims cases as we speak and possibly a third on TU. My advice to you is to send about three, maybe four letters, all certified and then a final ITS letter making them a settlement offer and deletion of the incomplete or unverifiable trade lines.I have spoken to alot of folks and they have all said that you really want to look like you made a more then resonable attempt attempt to resolve the issue. It makes you look like the good guy when you go in front of the judge, provided that all your facts and paperwork are in order. Good luck and keep on fighting............................. gdouglaslee
In the last two weeks one person prevailed in small claims in IL against Sherman and another was sued by Sherman and duelled them to a joint dismissal with prejudice. Guest jeeptravel
Not that it's part of the question, but I got Sherman deleted from EQ by a letter stating the account was in BK7. I know that's not this question, but just thought I'd let you know. Good luck.JT
