victoriouswarrior Posted October 4, 2004 Report Share Posted October 4, 2004 Hello and help!!!!!!!I have been trying to purchase a used car since July 2004.I contacted my credit union, car dealers, even loans companies like BARNONE.i STARTED OUT WITH A SCORE OF 750- but because of constant credit report inquiries my score is now 631.I have beenturned down left and right, even though i have a stable monthly income.WHYYYYYYY ???!!!!a FRIEND SAID THAT ITS BECAUSE DEALERS WILL NOT FINANCE SELF EMPLOYED PEOPLE....I have signed contracts and statements from clients saying i am and have been employed by them past and present- yet nothing helps.I am not ready to become incorporated...i have been in business about 1 1/2 year.I am going to have my profile changed on my credit report... but to what ? i want the occupation to say self employed- but it seems thats only hurting my case.ID APPRECIATE ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO OBTAIN A LOAN, AND WHAT TO LIST UNDER OCCUPATION ASAP !!!!!!!THANK YOU VERY MUCH !!!
