sofiadailey
Just a quick question - I read in several posts that the first thing one should do is dispute old addresses/wrong names. Others have said this might cause all accounts associated with those addresses to be deleted from the account. All of my old credit was positive, but all of those accounts have been closed for a long time. Since all of my old accounts are closed, would the old closed accounts dropping off lower my score? Thanks.
Ahntara
Yes.You need current, ongoing, positive credit to offset any negative items that may be showing. Without open accounts, you won't have any credit score at all.
