krisb74
I was wondering if anyone had any experience dealing with CSC through Equifax as far as disputing? We received our EQ reports and disputed quite a bit, but it had to be through CSC, which we did online. Watching the reports on PG, EX and TU have been deleting things but no action whatsoever from EQ yet and it's been @2 weeks. Just wondering if they do it all at once? This CSC has no way to check the status of disputes like the others do and the ph# we got off the EQ website is not a valid #. Thanks!

First, when dealing with CSC, it's not a good idea to dispute online. Always use cmrrr with them because it's VERY likely they'll 'forget' you put in a dispute with them. If you don't have that cmrrr, you don't have the proof you disputed and there goes your case.CSC deletes pretty randomly. Just because it hasn't disappeared yet, doesn't mean anything, really. Do keep a close eye, though, because when their time is up, you need to WRITE them and tell them your dispute wasn't resolved and the tradeline must be removed. Therein lies your problem with not having the proof. But you can always try.A good thing about CSC. THEY SUCK. They don't do their jobs, they don't care, they ignore you completely half the time. However...I've always found that when they DO that and you throw a hissy fit, it results in a delete. (I started out with 25 baddies....now I only have 1 on EQ ).Keep in mind, if you need them, they have a stellar legal department who WILL get the job done.Just keep an eye on them and watch for violations. And they WILL violate. Use it to your advantage.
krisb74
well, the only thing that I might have to my advantage if I run into that, is that I printed off the pages of diputes and their confirmation page when I submitted them? I'll be sure to watch this one closely. Do they/have they ever responded to your disputes by email (that is the way I requested)? thanks!

I can't say about the email response...I don't think I even saw that option the one time I disputed online. Hmmm. Just keep watch.
zerwas
It also looks like CSC will not let you dispute inquiries. I wish EQ had my file.....
