badcreditsucks
Hello all. My BK was discharged Jan 2004. Included in the BK was a home that was foreclosed. This is my dillemma; the last mortgage company that ended up with the mortgage, they show "foreclosed" on my credit report. Should they show IIB, rather than "foreclosure"? My other question is, the other companies that it had been passed around to show, 120 days late/sold-transferred etc. Can these also be listed as IIB? If so, do I send a letter to each mortgage company? I have already disputed with EQ and they have come back verified. Thanks in advance for your advice. LadynRed
was it foreclosed on before or after your bankruptcy ???If before, then the forclosure notation can stay on your reports as it IS accurate. HOwever, it must ALSO be noted as "IIB" to be completely accurate. If it was forclosed on AFTER your BK filing, then the forclosure can NOT be on your reports. If the other companies were included in your BK, then they too should show "IIB".
mrcredit
What is the official foreclosure date? Is it when the mortgage company takes you to court? Mine was after the filing date but before the discharge date. They are not reporting mine as IIB.
badcreditsucks
It was forclosed before the bankruptcy (the only reason I filed....long story...but never buy a house with a boyfriend )Also, what about the other lenders who it had been transferred to? should they still be listed on my credit report?
