Sending Out First Disputes

Hello all, This is my first post and I thank everyone for the wealth of information on this board.

I have two questions to start with. I am sending out my first disputes to Experian. I have four items to dispute as "not mine" is it better to send all four in one letter CMRRR, or to send 4 individual letters about each account CMRRR?

Also another website that I have been gleaning information from said to only send 1 dispute to a CRA at a time otherwise you risk being tossed into the frivilous pile. Has anyone found this to be true? Everything I've read on this board suggests that 4 disputes at a time is a good number to send. It seems like sending one at a time makes for a long process. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

Thanks,

Nitro

Its more of a personal choice. My personal method (along with many others as well) is to dispute em all at once. Otherwise, depending on how many disputes you have....could get pretty spendy with the CMRRR.

Its not proven whether or not disputing all at once is a better method, or will get you better results. Ive never heard of such a thing.

Get em all in there at once and just be sure to wait your time before sending another one. :D

Good luck and welcome!

I totally agree with Morrow.

When I did our disputes, I included each and evey item I was disputing in one letter, including names, addresses, or whatever. Each was sent by regular mail and I received a response on all but 4 individual items. Second time resolved 3 of them as I included a copy of the letter from the first. As to the 4th item, which was a misspelling of my DW's name, it would be deleted, then reinserted the next month. I called the CRA and the rep checked to see who it was. When she told me, I called the reporting party and the name is gone for good.

There is another thread with this same topic in this section. Please read it as I mentioned some more of my opinions there.
