Guest jeeptravel
I'm looking for one more card. I want to have $300-500 in credit if possible. It looks like this one is a shoe-in but I have read it might be approved only for 50 bucks or so above its annual fee and startup costs. If my income is 65K and I have only 2 small credit cards, do you think they might start me out higher than 300? Could I call and ask them? Would they tell me? Has anyone been approved (or heard of someone being approved)for $500 or above on this card?I'm also curious if anyone knows who they pull from in CA (no links to yahoo credit pulls please, I've already checked there and found nothing)Thanks a lot compadresJT
c m chase
I've never heard of a large CL from them. Mine was $250. I'm not sure about CA, but in OK, they pulled TU.I assume you have a couple of other cards right now? What are your scores? If you CAN get something other than FP, I'd say do that instead - no matter what the limit. Even though they have a good apr for subprime (9.9%), thier fees are outrageous. kbean
I agree with crazy mary.fiance and I both got those cards after we destroyed our credit in college. My CL was 300, his 350. They bumped me up to 35 after charging 25 or 50 bucks to request the increase. My interest was 9.9, his 12.9 6 dollars a month for participation, plus a crazy large annual fee.Try Chase or Capital
