sjohnson
I didn't know if anyone here would know the answer but it is worth a shot.Someone committed fraud againg me and I have a civil judgement for over $24,000.00. He has no assets that can be seized but he does have a job and bank accounts. Should I try to get the bank accounts and pay checks garnished? How hard is it to get done? I have also seen companies that will purchase judgements. I know I would not get all my money but would this be the best way to go. I would appreciate any info o this that anyone can give me. Recovering Attorney
Look in your yellow pages for a collection lawyer. You have done the hard work, so they should be able to help you with the garnishment for time plus expenses, $500 tops. You can go to ACAI.org and look for one in your area.
