Ravenous Wolf
I have a question, what is the best reason for a dispute during CHOD. Does one seem to be better then the others in getting results?Last year, I got jack [EXPLETIVE DELETED] for results during CHOD.And that was sending out about eight disputes per CRA... Carlos
For a recently settled account...shouldnt one wait (a few months) for the trail to go cold before disputing at the CBs?I know that CA, and OC will eventually "loose" the info however I am sure the records stay fresh for at least a few months after they have been closed out, settled, paid etc. Also, are there any other CHOD during the year or is this the credit-challenge folks one time a year gift from Santa? Carlos
Another C - H - O - D like "?"When one disputes would it create a greater volume of flow to dispute items one at a time...for instance, If you have for items to dispute, would it be better to release one aver three days vs all at once. I get the impression that you could fill up the inbox more the first way. This coupled with C - H - O - D would create a flood of paper. Unless there is some rule baring a person from disputing another item until the first item disputed has its investigation complete.
Andyt293
Good question Carlos, I am going to send out two different dispute letters this week to each of the CRA's. One is a basic "not mine, never late" letter and the other is a list of collections for which I am seeking validation.Does anyone have any experience sending out two disputes at the same time? creditcardcory
I'm sending out my letters today for CHOD. I'm going to play it like this:I will send each letter with multiple disputes, including different spelling of my name, employer, previous addresses, an old account and of course any charge off or late payments.Reason for this is because the CRA employee has to complete a quota and can do this by going through the short disputes one at a time. I believe if I sent each dispute in different letters I would help in making their quota, however I take the chance that my long list of disputes will continue traveling to the bottom of the pile for the holiday season.I will post my results. Happy CHODing-Cory

UnrulyJulie
I sent the first round on 11/18. I didn't want to send too many disputes at once since this is my first round of formal, mailed disputes to CA's and CRA's ever. For me, it just happens to be CHOD, so maybe it'll work out well. ...to me and all of you!

luckyduck
18 letters are going out from my family alone. TODAYYOU ARE THE MAN!!!! Everybody needs to do that.6 letters sent 11/22 - up to 30 items on each dispute. everything from addresses, inquiries, collections, credit limits, past dues, high limits, balance, every little thing I could find. Did a few online a week ago to get a jumpstart. All online disputes are already deleted. Will wait for snail mail results on the remainder. I expect and hope for third party credit repair response. Josh Mcgrath
18 letters are going out from my family alone. TODAY I expect and hope for third party credit repair response. Can you explain that please? And I'd be worried about the "frivolous" letter wit 30 disputes on one letter!
luckyduck
Every one of my many disputes is a legitimate dispute. Some are mixed up files between ex's and us (both had bad ex people). Some are just incorrect information. Because of the thoroughness of the disputes, there are a large number of them. The disputes are very simple, form style. I'm saying I dare them to refuse to investigate for either of us. Make sense now?
