sunshine
I am kinda new to all this technical stuff around this board it can be a bit confusing....and I have this confusing problem....I had a Charge Off/Paid account on my credit report from WFNNB/Clark TransUnion and Equifax removed it but Experian refuses to budge on it, so I called the origianal creditor on it and they state that there is a balance of $13.12 on this account and I furious because when I "thought" I paid if off 3 years ago I never got another billing/phonecall etc..... but the weird thing about this is that Experian shows this CO as Paid/Charge Off (Revolving)with a "$0" balance and WFNNB is stating that I owe them 13.12 is Experian really verifying this info. What should I do?
parko03
Do you have a way of proving that you paid it first off.?If not, mind you Im still learning too, but, Shouldn't we be carefull with this because having a CO/Paid is bad BUT having a CO with a balance due could be even worse.Im not sure what EX is doing but I doubt they are verifying it because if they were they would see that they ARE reporting it incorrectly because there is actually a bal. due according to the OC.What do the rest of you think?
