schellmis63
Can anyone tell me how much trouble I am in? I filed my motion to leave, which I have appeared but when I sent a copy of the motion to the plaintiff I put the wrong freaking date on it. No wonder they did not appear. Now this was just a court date for me to ask for my motion to leave. Oh man! I can't believe that I did that. So what will happen today?
anti-something
well, i guess they wont turn up..i have no idea if it will cause any problems, just a guess that they may reschedule the hearing. still guessing that the judge may ask if you informed the other party (since they arent there), at which point you will need to say yes, but.. Leadhead
Look, mistakes happen. The attorney I dealt with on my lawsuit against a CA, which I won (they settled), was a real dumb @ss. His pleadings were atrocious, sparingly used puncuation, didn't capitilize proper nouns, etc.Simply explain to the court what happend.
