pamelabe
Is it ok that a creditor has closed my acct before I file bk and referred me to the bk dept in their company. They did this without me filing yet!! I dont know how they found out that I have the intention of filing when the ink isnt even dry yet on my papers that I put together today with my lawyer. So.... can they refer me to their bankruptcy dept when I dont even know how they would know because i have finished filing yet! And they got to closing the acct before me. Is that right?pamela
Methuss
I can think of only 2 ways that could happen.First, they contacted your attorney after you told them you were represented by counsel. or,They intend to file a "forced bankruptcy" upon you, which is VERY uncommon.
