coed27
First of all thanks to every one who has been so helpful to me in the past, I am truly grateful for all the knowledge that everyone has shared.....On to business though, I just want to make sure I am understanding the process correctly. I have read through alot of threads. After I get my credit report, and see a collection account on there I want to :1. Dispute the entry with the cb (one green card)2. and at the same time dv the ca ( another green card). Also, I am to dispute one item at a time - not a whole bunch at onceThanks SO much in advance. 8)
breathing_easier
There's a credit repair technique called the "1-2 Punch" that says to first send your DV with limited C&D via CMRRR. Once you receive the green card back then send a dispute to the CRA (you can use any of the available methods, but going the CMRRR creates the best papertrail). tropicaljo
You can dispute as many tradelines as you want with each dispute letter but that doesn't mean they will actually address every tradeline that you disputed. I have found that if you dispute more than 4 or 5 tradelines at once, there will be at least one that they will overlook and not investigate. Keep in mind that CRA employees are simple folks and easily confused. If you dispute a lot of tradelines at once and they miss one or two, just bring 'em up again in your next round of disputes.
