schellmis63
How do you handle this one?CA cannot validate the account/ CA attorneys failed to validate the account. Removed off of credit report due to lack of validation. I recieve a letter in the mail today, stating that I have ignored their collection attempts and they are collecting this debt. Never actually asked for validation from them, only their collection attorney's. Which I never heard from again,,,, till CA after the same account again. What type of letter do you send now? I have sent 4 letters in the past now what?
c m chase
If you've never sent a DV to them, do so ASAP! You got the collection attorney off your back...but they can always get another.Send DV directly to them.

c m chase
Yeah, along with DV to MCM, I'd probably send copies of the other letters just to add a little 'I know what I'm doing' in there. MCM is no longer being nicey with me - they actually are suing me now...got my summons about a week ago after almost a year of me trying to get validation and them sending me nothing but 'give us money' letters. That's ok though, I have them on enough violations for them to go away, I'm sure. Also, watch them for reinsertion of the account onto your reports. If they do it, you can always add that as a violation if it comes to the courtroom.
schellmis63
I guess they are trying to pull the same with me. I actually got them off of my credit report/sending in copies to the CRA of validation requests but failed.. . well back to the drawing board with them again.
