retmar
Just for those who do not know, when you call the Toll Free to discuss your Mortgage Account with them, you are talking to someone in India. I just found this out yesterday when I called about ours. The rep gave me her name with no problem, but, had to have her spell it, as it was hard to understand her. Due to the "issue", I had to be transferred to a Supervisor. During our conversation, he let it slip as to their office being in India because I had mentioned it was hard to talk to the rep. He was in Maryland, but, your initial contact will go straight to India.

Recovering Attorney
Chase has sent a lot of their service centering to India. Two banks that will not have my biz again, not because I have anything against India.
liverichly
Citi is just about the only Prime bank that will go to 100% behind a neg-am 1st though. Their wholesale call center is located in India too, they all have very Brittish accents and it seems they are reading responses out of a customer service step-by-step book.
