DvS*oNe
Hello everyone! As you can see I'm new to the neighborhood, and I'm looking forward to working with everyone.I'm going to try and have some lates removed from my CR, but I can't seem to find a really good GW letters. I was hoping that maybe some of you Guru's out there might donate one. In Advance...DvS*oNe
DocDon
Guru's? The cost of a GW letter just went up.Welcome aboard! There is no concrete GW letter. Each situation is different and should be worded differently. You're basically asking them to forgive your mistakes for a variety of reasons (temp loss of job, drinking binge, etc) and use the positive history with them to get them to remove lates. There's a few samples floating around... see if they don't turn up with a search. You can also post what you came up with (minus personal info) and we can rip it to shreds - er, I mean help you make some changes.
DvS*oNe
Should I try to dispute the lates with the CRA's first:?:
DocDon
You can certainly do that as well. However, if the account has any kind of a history (even with the negs), you run the risk of complete deletion should they not respond. This is a bigger pain in the rear to correct than just writing a GW letter.
CW
Doc Don, how do you go about getting something re-inserted?
DocDon
Doc Don, how do you go about getting something re-inserted?How would you get an erroneously deleted tradline reinserted? You write the OC and the CRA and explain the tradeline was erroneously deleted. The OC will send the CRA information to have it reinserted. The CRA will either claim they never received it, or the item cannot be reinserted. You sue the CRA.That's about it in a nutshell.
