CLM
Just wanted to share some information. I failed after several attempts to have a specific item removed from my CR. The CA I contacted via CMRR never responded. On my last DV letter to the CA I cc'd my State Attorney General, the State Attorney General for the CA as well as the FTC. NOt only did the CA stop contacting me, but the item was removed from my CR within the 30 day investigation period. If your claim is legitimate, contacting the State Attorney General and the FTC is a great idea and can work in your favor.I hope someone can benefit from this information. humdinger
My states attorney general has also been helpful in the past. Seems TU and EQ just don't like anything with an official letterhead!
ADSOFT
It's know as the "Eddie Tampa" technique. Eddie used to include a FTC letters with letter head in his DV letters and CRA disputes. It seemed to scare the CA and CRAs, yet there is no legal reason why the CRAs have to remove TL if they are correct.Eddie some how was a good student of human nature. .. many of us missed eddie & were sorry to see him leave.
