I sent a dv letter to Purchased Paper/ RMA and they never validated. However, It did list as "disputed by consumer" on my EQ report. I disputed online with EQ as "not mine" and it came back verified with new info. The DOLA had changed from 2-98 to 10-04. WTF. , This is the same account that I have an EQ report that I received in June '01 that has a DOLA of 9-97. What should I do?

Send a letter (CMRRR) to the CRA with a procedural request, pointing out that they have 15 days to provide you with information on how they verified your dispute. They'll ignore it, of course. Send them another letter informing them of your intent to sue. Do a forum search for "PR" and "ITS" for more information.

Send a letter to the CA informing them of your intent to sue for re-aging the account in violation of the FCRA. Do a forum search for "re-aging" for more information.

RMA did the same to me

CRA came back verified, I sent them a PR letter, and included the fact that I KNOW this account has been re-aged, quoted dates before and after and warned them I have copies of my CR to prove this! Also quoted the violation. In my lettter, I CC'd the commisioner at FTC and my state attorney as well. I still filed complaints with the FTC!

I checked PG a week after CRA got my letter, they were gone!! 8-) to RMA
