UnrulyJulie
I called EX today just to do some name and address corrections. The woman I spoke to on the phone was so friendly and seemingly eager to help it was scary. I didn't think human voices at the CRA's were supposed to sound so, well, human!Anyway, I talked to her a small bit about some disputed information that came back verified 10/04 and she said that if I wanted to take it up with the CA's, it would be up to them to remove the items. I didn't want to get into any more depth over the items or additional listings that I am planning on disputing because a phone conversation is obviously not having something in writing. Not to mention, her humanly voice reflecting some sort of personality really caught me off gaurd. However, I had no idea that CRA's would do disputes over the phone and I was wondering if anyone out there had done so with any results? Is there any sort of tact used in doing so?
wert
You can dispute with the CRAs on the phone, by mail, or online.Phone is just the 'old fashion' way, but really the quickest-and give you that CRA warm and personal touch we all love... efish
I too, was extremely pleased that the individual I spoke to at Equifax, was so darn nice. She really did seem eager to help me and did. I got some old personal info removed and it stayed off to. So it can be nice. I did the same thing and stayed away from anything that may require aomething in writing.
