Just curious as to what other people out there are stuck on with thier credit repairing.

For me its very little right now, one on each report. EQ and TU are reporting a paid CO being reported directly by Cap1 and EX is reporting a voicemail (I think???) CO from a CA that validated of $72 that will fall off within a year.

I would also be curious to hear from people who were stuck on something for the longest time then tried something different and got results.

Im stuck on a duplicate report from a medical bill. It's the same thing listed twice and only twice on Experian. First attempt, not mine....didn't work. Both were verified. Second attempt, letter to EX pointing out that it's an obvious duplication of the same account.......they respond saying BOTH are verified  So just sent out the 3rd attempt....DV both accounts with the CA seperately since they seem(or EX says so) to be verifying both as different accounts. WTF! WE'll see...........

Depends. On EX I'm stuck on everything. lol They haven't deleted a damn thing.

TU I'm stuck on a repo (paid) that keeps changing back to unpaid with a $500 balance) I just sent off another nasty letter to gool ol' Ford.

And, of course, I have a Cap1 CO that's 3 years old. When I disputed, they began to update every month saying it's still a CO. Grrrr.

I would think the lions share of folks are stuck on DV.

mostly because this process is not a cut and dry as it has been presented on this board. To do it right one needs an expert knowledge of FDCPA, FCRA, State law; certain case law, and several opinon letters. Sounds like a job better left to an attorney rather than an DITYer.

Park,

I would treat any account listed with only one bereau as suspect. The OC always list to all three. The only reason for listing to only one CRA would be if it co$t to list with them, and the CA is trying to save fund$. however, most likely they are just trying to collect on a debt they can not legally enforce.
