wunderwoman
OK, so I'm thinking "how can this 'no record of my PR' thing work for me?"It's been over 30 days (I know they only get 15) since I send a letter CMRRR requesting PR, but they've sent nothing. So I get on the phone and find out if they have anything in process. No.The last thing they received was two months ago.Great! So now I'm thinking I can just send them a NEW dispute letter, which states "it's been over 30 days since I disputed the following information <insert new dispute items here>, I have enclosed a copy of the CMRRR that you received it 35 days ago, yet when I called the items are not in dispute. Please delete, per FCRA blah, blah, blah.I have included a copy of the first letter sent to you as a courtesy (type fake 1st letter with 2 new disputes) as well as the CMRRR proving that you received said letter.Unscrupulous? Well, absolutely, but I do remember reading somewhere (Xan, Morrw?) that Equifax and Transunion DON'T keep paper records and it's only Experian that keeps copies of all letters and calls. So, seeing they never received the letter in the first place (or so they say) I can get my last deletes? Comments? Suggestions?
c m chase
Absolutely use that! And...just like you said, too. I (as I'm sure others) have had some great success in using the 'looky, I told you so' approach. What CRA is it? Please tell me it's CSC...they're the easiest in that manner.Even if not, try to get the name/address of someone higher up. Normal CSRs won't do the job you need done. A little diligent work on your part and this should go just like you want it.
