Hello Again

I sent first and second DV letter to Associated Creditor Exchange(ACE).

Second green card signed for on 11/18/04, As of today I recieved a letter from a new CA (Surpas) dated 11/24/04,however ACE never validated debt.

Supras letter has incorrect information about who the origonal creditor is, they do not refer to the OC nor the first CA Who do I contact about this new letter? and is is either of the CA's in violation?

This happened with me on the same account I am currently posting on - one cant validate, so they pass you on to the next - each saying they will "Pursue until collected" but then falling off of the face of the earth when a DV letter appears. I literally had this one company give the debt back to the OC the SAME DAY that My Validation letter arrived.

Just send another letter, thats what I'd do - and watch your credit report to make sure none of them are reporting...

And when I say send another letter, that means to the most recent collection agency that is harassing you -

I did have one collection agency send me a letter, and then their "Attorney" sent me one a month later, both in Tupelo, Ms (Elvis country) so I knew it was the same people - heck, they didn't even have their people answer the phones differently.

I just finished opening my mail from today, and I have also recieved a letter fom the OC. I may be confused but I thought that all collections had to stop once the 1st DV letter was sent.

This whole process seems so confusing to me, I feel like this will keep going on until someone sues me.

Only collections from the CA have to stop. I DVed CA for Cap1, and Cap1 started sending me letters stating that the CA was authorized to settle for 40%, and I should give them a call. Yeeeaaah right! but nothing illegal about that.
