mzjazzyazz
I have 2 accounts in collection. Both are $1300. Both approximately 2 years old. The CA and the OC are both reporting to the CRA. That is 4 negatives for 2 accounts. I want them ALL Removed. Can you help me and give me some advice on what to do. DocDon
Can you settle these? By that I mean do you have funds available to get these paid? You should always make sure you have cash in hand before making a settlement, as they usually ask for one lump sum payment within about 15 days or so.... mzjazzyazz
Should I try to settle for a lower amount, or offer them the full payment? I can only pay off one at a time, if full payment is required, and not until the end of the month.
miracle
No., you want to try and settle for a lesser amount but make sure you do so in writing and have them agree delete the collections from your CR.
Cleugers
I am in the process of trying to settle some of my husbands debts what if they tell you they will not delete. I have ran into this a few times how does one handle this?
mzjazzyazz
would I contact the OC or the CA to settle the debt? And once it settles what happens to the other collection account for that same debt?
DocDon
Your best bet is to go to the executive level at the OC and stay there until they get tired of receiving your letters. If you don't receive a favorable response, write to another executive....
