lazesranch
I am new to credit repair... my score not good overall 518..hopefully will improve.. couple of things on my report was wondering about...i was reading on another board that you should do validation to CAs first and then send disputes to CRAs... or should it be opposite?please let me know cuz would like to use CHOD to get going on this!thanks... lazysranch
c m chase
Always send DV letters first. Send them certified mail, return receipt....as soon as you get the green card back...dispute with CRAs.
lazesranch
ok... thanks cm chase... now.. should the dv's only go to the ones (i have four) listed on the cra's or the one's that i know are out there trying to collect... like old one sitting never collected on....equifax lists all the cas on the first page... but there are maybe 4-7 old ones on my reports too... sorry this is sooo confusing!!! lazesranch
miracle
I would start with the ones on your report and tackle the others as you get going. If the ones not on your report start buggin' ya.. you would want to DV them as well. If they aren't collecting and aren't on your report.. I would let them continue sitting for the time being. Welcome to the club! I think Miss Miracle misunderstood what you were asking (or I am), but I'll have to disagree with her. If there are ANY CAs trying to collect....send them a DV right away. If you haven't heard from them in awhile, but they are still on your report, send a DV right away as well....by being listed on your report, they are in 'collection activity'.I *think* Miracle read that as "CAs that haven't been trying to collect and they AREN'T on reports"....if that was the case, then yeah, leave them alone...they probably gave up, returned the account, or sold it. You phrased that better than I would have hoped to. Lazesranch.. just disreguard my response and read chase's.. it makes more sense! Sorry about that
