wolfpup Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 I ordered my equifax report and saw that a CA has reported the exact same collection twice. On one entry its listed as Date assigned of 12/01 and on the other entry it has a date assigned of 10/02. Each entery has a different account number as well.Can they do this? wunderwoman Posted December 9, 2004 Report Share Posted December 9, 2004 I had two collection accounts with the same agency. I disputed with the bureaus and with the collection agency. Since mine were a result of identity theft, the both came off all reports (via the collection agency). It actually depends on how recent the tradelines are. Give it a shot!
