efish
I had a new CA show up on my account. I found out it was transferred from the previous CA, they couldn't validate so they removed it from my report. DocDon or Methuss had told me this was a violation, because if the first CA couldn't validate then it was illegal for them to transfer. Anyhoo. I did the C&D to this new CA and then I sent in a disppute to Equifax stating that the account was not mine. They came back less than five day later to state that the account was indeed verified? Is this a violation? If so, what should I do now?? I'm at a loss on what my new recourse should be? ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated right about now. wunderwoman
Equifax probably lied and assumed it must be true because it is recent. This is part of the ongoing problem with Equifax. Send them a procedural request. State their laws and responsibilities and see what happens. Many of us are having that problem with Equifax. That is why we take 'em to court.
