mzjazzyazz
but collections dept says I have no debt. What do to now? According to customer service, I don't owe anything. Collections dept. say they can mail a letter but it won't be signed, it will only be on PG&E letterhead.
miracle
Get a copy of the letter anyway and sent a copy to ex. They should remove it. EX probably didn't really verify (which is not uncommon)Getting a copy of the letter to the CRA is probably the best way to take care of it.. mzjazzyazz
Will they just remove it or will they update it to paid?
miracle
Is it a paid collection and that is why you don't owe debt or do they say it doesn't exist?
mzjazzyazz
It existed at one time but the bill was transferred to my mothers bill since she was the co-signer.

mzjazzyazz
it says we are writing in response to your recent inquiry regarding the closing bill from the above referenced account. Our records indicate your accounyt is now a zero balance. It is not signed or anything. Its just on company letterhead.
