agn140 Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 It seems there have been mixed opinions as to the best way to dispute items. It seems that online seems to be ok for uncomplicated disputes and with the ability to print out the online dispute there is definately a paper trail that the cra has recvd it.what is the reason for disputing previous adresses or employers?can anyone give examples. Thanks
miracle Posted December 9, 2004 Report Posted December 9, 2004 If you get rid of previous addresses then it may cut some ties with an old credit line, so when you dispute it as not mine.. it is more likley to come off of your CR that way.
Perky Posted December 15, 2004 Report Posted December 15, 2004 I am new to this disputing and when I went in to dispute on line they had pull down menu's nad I am not sure which would be the best to choose to force an investigation. I do not want to choose the wrong one I have heard so many horror stories if it is not done right. HELP!
