normajean
Doe the assest and liability section of a Bk need to be filled in for the listing to be considered complete? Would that be a good dispute. Incomplete information? What does the Bk have to have within the listing to be complete?
LadynRed
What are you trying to do ?? The forms MUST be complete when you file and if they are not you will have to pay to amend them later.
DocPC
I think she means on her credit report.
normajean
Sorry about the confusion. I would have replied sooner but I did not get a notification in my email Yes I did mean on the Credit Report. I read somewhere that if the asset/liability section was not filled out that it could be disputed and may be deleted.Normajean
LadynRed
Your BK filing would have been incomplete w/o the asset/liability schedules filled out. These things don't show on your credit report anyway. If there is anything else wrong about the way the BK is being reported, then dispute that. No credit bureau is going to be able to see your complete schedules, only that you did file.
normajean
thanks, No I have tried everything. I did get one deletion by asking nicely. I have also gotten rid of any address that is connected to the Bk and all accounts are gone that were connected. Experian is actually reporting an outdated addess for dispute and I sent them proof that my letter to the bk office came back, not correct address. I kind of wrote them a serious nut case letter. I have been going back and forth with them for 6 months with this. If I have already disputed the bk as incomplete can I now try to dispute it as not mine? Would I start a new investigation or stay with the old number.I disputed the bk because responsible party and type of bk was not filled out. They still have not filled out the asset/liability part. We are trying to get a refi and our scores are 740, 690, 695. We need five points to get an a loan. Are you saying I can still dispute the information regarding the asset/liability part? Our Bk comes off on 9/2005. About 9 months.I thought getting our bk off would be the fastest way to get the score up. The bank we normally use only pulls equifax so I have cleaned that one up really well. TransUnion is still showing incorrect info so i have started working on that. The info they are reporting is easily fixed.Thank you for your adviceNormajean
LadynRed
What I'm saying is the credit bureaus have no way to verfiy what is or is not in the BK schedules, so they would not be able to verify the validity of that. ALL they can verify is that the case WAS filed and is public record. If you dispute the SAME THING again, EX will label it as 'previously investigated' and won't budge. If there are any dates wrong or the type of BK is wrong then dispute THAT.
