Would a store card be better than another gas card?

Recommended Posts

So far on my recovery I have gotten approved for a Chevron ($300), Exxonmobil ($100) and Orchard Bank MC ($300). Would it be better for me to try for Target, Kohl's or similar instead of another gas card? I am looking for something that will approve me but I wonder if I need to try and get a mix of different cards now.

To answer your question of if a store card is better than a gas card, the answer is an unequivocal yes.

Try for Walmart store card; as said before Kohl's is difficult to get, and you said you need to wait before you can apply again for Target's card.

I tried for Walmart back in October and got turned down. But in the meantime I got approved for Exxon/Mobil which is handled by Monogram Bank that also does Walmart. Anyone know how long you have to wait before you can reapply with Walmart?

Not a clue as to how long you must wait. Have you tried Good will letters to Target and Walmart?

Target sucks! They don't report correctly! That's a major rebuilding issue! It will look like you are using all your credit as a "High Balnce" reporter. There's always the trick of Maxing it out and than paying it out after cycle has been hit.

What R your scores?
