bldgtech
I need to know advise from "someone in the know" to this question: I have $50K in credit card debt. I want to consolidate these in a home equity loan. Will transferring this type of debt to one loan raise my score. Will it make a difference if i do a LINE OF CREDIT home equity as apposed to a FIXED RATE/TERM home equity loan(second mortgage)as far as score is concerned? Also, will score go down at first or stay the same. Thanks for any help you can give me or a referral to someone who can....Alex

bldgtech
Thanks Doc Don, however, my question is very specific and i did not find the answer where you suggested. It requires someone who knows about credit and the working of it. Do you know the Answer??I would love some help,
DocDon
I was referring to posting the same question in more than one forum.... It gets confusing bouncing back and forth, and many times, an answer is based upon the suggestion made before it - that's why I suggested all answers be posted in the other forum.
