spray25
I use PG to view my credit reports. There are some accounts on my CRs that I wish to dispute/validate. The problem is I have no idea what the address is for any of the companies and the account numbers PG are not complete. They are typically something like 12345XXX.How do I get this information so that I can send validation letters?
wunderwoman
You have to get your reports directly from the Credit Bureau. I'm not sure if they'll give this information over the phone. It's always better to get your FULL reports from each credit bureau before you begin disputes.
miracle
Yes, make sure you get a report from each CRA before you start. They usually do not report full numbers on the accounts, but it should have an address or way to contact the creditor. You can dispute them with out the acct numbers (esp if you are disputing "not mine")
Chadwick
Are you referring to the hardcopy CR that you get by requesting one from the CRAs directly, or will that which is available on myfico.com suffice? I have an account on there, but it says "credit grantor information not available." The information is available on all the other accounts. What does this mean?
