Rezin
Much to my disbelief, I called Target today, and was told on the phone I was APPROVED. This was a suprise, because they pulled my Experian, I had hoped they pulled my EQ. My exp was considerably lower at that time, but rebounded after some removals recently.Anyway, APPROVED. Applied online. I live in PA, they pulled Experian, my FAKO was about 590-600 at that time, with 2 baddies, both older baddies.Question - Is it true you should max it out when we get it, to report the full Credit Limit, then pay it down quick. Like If I get a $200, should I go charge up $180, and then say pay $120 back beofre the first reporting date?

edubb007
Unfortueatly it's true! No CL reporting by Target GC. Boy I can spell! At least you have a game plan! That should work!
Rezin
Thanks for the tip. I guess from their point of view, it's brilliant, lol. Probably go charge up about $175 over the next week, then send them a check for like $125. Maybe I'll get it in before the reporting goes thorugh, and have a nice utilization...... If not, I guess I'd get dinged for being "maxed out" for one month or something. Then the next month I guess it would recover?
lakpr
You don't have to actually purchase anything. Note down what their billing date is, and just before that date, buy the costliest things from the store up to your credit limit. Once the billing statement arrives, simply return all the goods to the Target store (you should still be within the 30 day window).Target s***s.
