KentWA
Well after filing againest a CA and having them dead to rights on violations (they want to settle), a very close friend asked me to help her out and she now has a CA that left 2 threatening calls on her answering machine since receiving the C&D so it is about time to cash in. But that brings up a bit of a sticky problem. She is not too articulate due to a disability and many people mistakenly take it for mental disability and in any stressful situation she freezes real bad.So my question gets down to wether or not there is a way for me to represent her in court on this or is she going to need to just hire a lawyer if it comes down to going to court? Anyone seen anything on this? Not looking to get paid for this, told her if she got money she could take me to lunch.
bluealex915
Hello,I am no lawyer but have you looked into a limited type of power of attorney in this matter? This way you could legally represent her in matters that have to do with this particular case or credit. Ask around the lawyer forum, that is a great place to get started...................
