LearningCredit
3 of my TransUnion inquiries got deleted when I checked my Privacy Guard credit reports today. The dates were December 2002, February 2003, and June 2003. Now, I have a few inquiries on TU's report. DOES THIS HAVE SOMETHING TO DO WITH ME CHECKING MY PRIVACY GUARD REPORTS FOR THE LAST 45 DAYS TWICE DAILY? (I HAVE 2 PG ACCOUNTS).Happy Holidays!!! Rezin
I THINK I got my first today. Maybe not. Been checking almost daily for about 2.5 months. Had my older INQ drop off TU today (It was over in 2/05 anyway, so maybe it was just a coinkydink...)

ChiroVin
There's lots of posts on bumpage on this site. Do a search and research the pros and potential cons.Bumpage is when you subscribe to a monitoring service, like True Credit, and you pull your own file once a day. It gets recorded as a soft pull in the CRA databases. The CRA computer systems can only hold so much info and eventually your hard pulls get dropped off. The problem is that sometimes your CRA file gets split and that can be a royal pain to correct, so you have to be careful. If I'm not mistaken, some people have recently reported that they are having less and less luck doing this. Speculation is that people associated with the CRAs have monitored this site and because so many have discussed it here that the CRAs are wising up some.
