njdevilsfan1973
Hi Everyone…I sent my request for validation for a collection account to the address on the letter I received from the CA using the CRRR method. Basically, I mailed the template that was on the site- hoping that it would fall off. Well, to my surprise, the letter comes back undeliverable. If you ask me, that’s pretty shady, that somehow if I had chosen to pay it, that it would be accepted for that, but not for validation. What’s next to do? Do I try to find another address and then what, right a letter.. but what do I say… I don’t really think it’s right that it happened. What should I do now? Need help guys.. thanks
Leadhead
Go ahead and tell us which CA it is and what address you mailed it to. There might be someone who has an alternate address or better info.
njdevilsfan1973
I don't have the entire address handy, but it was for Strategic Asset Management in Pennsylvania. I know it was a PO Box... I have it at home.
Recovering Attorney
You could copy the letter and envelope and the print out from usps.com and dispute it with the CRAs. Say that since you could not reach them, the matter is unverifiable, and so it should be deleted from your account.
