About 3 years ago I got a phone through Verizon. At that time I couldn't have cared less about my credit. I used the phone 2 months, didn't receive a bill (didn't care), the phone got shut off at that point and I pretty much just forgot about it. Then I got my credit report and found out they are reporting that I owe almost $1000 for this! What the heck happened? I have contacted them and they are supposed to be sending me a copy of my bill and contract but they sure are taking their sweet time about it. Has anyone got any thoughts on this? Has anyone else had problems with them or experience with trying to deal with them?
