booger69
I just called the magistrate clerk to find out about filing discovery, production of documents and interrogatories. She switched me over to civil (this is a civil matter) and they said they don't do those "prejudgment". I said so I have to wait for the court date to see what is what? and she said "mm-hum" WTF...how the hell am I supposed to see what they have that I can use to fight this dumba$$ lawsuit? BTW I am in Georgia (can't wait to move the hell out of this state!) Anyon e have experience with Magistrate court in GA?
Recovering Attorney
If issue is joined ( ie, a complaint and answer thereto have been served), you can go ahead and serve discovery demands. Sooner, the better. It's not the court's job.
