Simple Question, I know but still need some input

I have been fixing my credit for sometime now and I have had some pretty impressive results. I wanted to ask a couple of questions though just to clarify some things.

I know all the steps and letters such as sending a PR or an ITS but here is the question. Do you only write a PR letter in the event that you are planning to go to court? I mean, let's say that you send in a dispute to a CRA. The CRA returns and states that they verified the disputed information.

At this point what do you want to do if your main goal is to get things off of your credit? Do you just wait a bit and then dispute it again for another reason or do you fire off a PR letter with every verified response from the CRA?

What is the best strategy, is it dispute, get verified response, send PR letter and then maybe sue. Do you ever want to just skip over the PR letter and go right to another dispute or should you PR letter every time you get a verified response?

Alot of folks on here talk about how PR letters don't do crap in most cases so I need to know how and when to use a PR letter. Alot of folks state that the CRA's don't even respond to PR letters. I really need some expert advice on the PR letter.

Thanks for any advice you can give....................

Que-I think these two links here should help very much. They tell it all:

http://www.creditinfocenter.com/repair/MethodOfVerification.shtml

and,

http://www.creditinfocenter.com/rebuild/debt_validation.shtml

Read those carefully especially the bottom part of the second link

Hope this helps.

I agree with QMAX's steering. That is great information. I just want to add some simple advice here. Occasionally the CRA's will remove or amend as disputed in your favor on your first dispute. Hardly ever though. Usually you have to keep on them and/or the CO to get your CR clean. They will always respond to a lawsuit that is founded. The question is, do you have a founded lawsuit, and/or have they been unable to validate the debt due to a number of reasons? In that case, go for the throat right away and sue.

I can't stress this enough however: You must REALLY take the steps to sue and not just threaten.

Good luck I hope that helps.
