sdc2027
My car leasing company is updating to both EX and EQ properly but hasn't updated properly to TU since July 04. What is the best way to handle this?A goodwill letter to the OC and one to the CRA or just a letter to the OC?
sdc2027
BumpAddition:How anal should I be about OC's updating to the CRA?If they are more than 3 months behind should I write them or more than 1 month behind? DocDon
They should be updating monthly. However, keep in mind they have to be a subscriber to each CRA they report to. If they stopped using TU, they will not update with them - even if that means discontinuing reporting right in the middle of your relationship with them.Sending a letter off to them should get things cleared up one way or another. You should add that if they no longer use TU, they are not to request a deletion of the existing account history - that will do more damage than good to your score.
