chara
Hi,I wrote to Equifax to have them update the status of 2 judgements to "satisfied". These were both paid in 2001.I just received a letter from them, and they have this for both: "Status- Satisfied 12/2004; Verified 12/2004" which looks like I just paid these now! What do I do now? From reading some threads here regarding the reporting of incorrect info, I'm wondering if there is now just cause for them to remove the entries entirely? Can someone tell me what I should do about this? Thanks
gprncss
You have a good chance of getting it deleted all together if you can prove it has been re-aged. example let them know per report # .... it stated 2001, why then does it now say 2004? etcOfcourse they could simply update it with the correct info as well but it is worth the try nonetheless.
