blackgossamer
I was wondering what you guys think. I have read several times that you should only file if you living expenses are equal to or more than what you make. When I make my payments to items I would included in BK I am barely scrapping by but if I take out those items and use only living expenses I have about $300 extra. I'm asking because I am seriously thinking about this. I have tried setteling with several companies and tried to negotiate hardship programs and no one wants to work with me. I make about $1800 a month and that income supports me and my husband. I have several creditors that I am trying to juggle in this process I have received 2 charg-offs and my husband had back taxes. In all this is about $34000. I'm just looking for opinions.Thanks.
bingo
You're very likely under estimating your living expenses. Try this expense calculator and remember, use normal living expenses. Far to many people are used to scrimping and are barely surving. Think name brand food products as opposed to ramen noodles as an example.http://www.ca-bankruptcy-attorneys.com/calculators/expense_calculator.html
