anti-something
Its been a year since the CA turned up, and we might say they havent got much joy from their dealings with me, but they certainly have had some extra work!! So im going to ask a newbie question! when will they sell/transfer the account to the next poor unfortunate CA? i cant wait!! this CA is just no fun anymore! wunderwoman
If you requested validation for the debt, and they were not able to do so, they will not likely sell it to someone else. It would be illegal for them to do so. They probably trashed it and will leave it to the OC to find someone else to collect on the debt.
c m chase
i cant wait!! this CA is just no fun anymore! Congrats on getting bored with screwing with a CA!! LOL! Move on to the next one, sistah!
LadynRed
It is NOT illegal for a CA to sell a debt that they cannot or will not validate. The law only says THEY must cease collection activity until they validate, but they don't ever HAVE to do so, they can dump it for some other CA to buy and then you must DV the next clown in line. anti-something
i know they are watching, theres been several times now i've written something up here and they seemed to 'know' (HAHAHA *think* they know what i was up to) the point of the original post was to see if they were still around.. thought maybe since i hadnt been here, they gave up, but i'm sure i am not their only 'client' here on this board. i tell them they are no fun, they try and get a relative to pay the highly disputed, unvalidated, and IMHO illegal debt, so they informed a third party of the debt, and hassled the relative into almost paying it. what did they do? gave me (and the relative!!) an indefensible action to sue them over. HEHE!
